To eliminate food wastage and preserve shelf life, Guyimex boasts a 50,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art temperature controlled cold storage that can hold fresh goods, frozen goods and dry food products. Our Greenhouse crops are picked, packaged and stored in our facility until ready for export.

How ?
In a controlled setting, specific nutrients that a plant requires is fed with a water solution. The type and the amount of nutrients is controlled in a soilless environment using Rockwool, making it ideal to grow literally anywhere.
What is Rockwool?
A dense mass of fine and intertwined fibers made from spinning molten and crushed basaltic rock. Rockwool pods are an excellent soilless substitute that retains moisture well with good aeration while reusing water.
Reusable Water
By regularly analyzing the mineral content in the water, we can ensure that the hydroponic systems maintain optimal nutrient levels for plant growth. This enables the reuse of water while minimizing the risk of overfeeding, which can be detrimental to the plants. It promotes sustainable farming practices and efficient use of resources.
Climate Controlled
Cooling systems are used and the climate is dehumidified to fit the settings of each products that is grown. Whether it is strawberries, lettuce, bell peppers, tomato or cucumber our structures are built to control the climate settings to ensure maximum productivity with our crops.
